The new Miss Bahamas Universe Organization mission is to field a representative from this archipelago of islands within this decade to capture the Miss Universe crown.

Miss Bahamas Universe is a unique beauty pageant in that it is not simply a beauty competition.  Delegates must have a good figure with beauty of face, grace, charm, deportment and good personality, for those attributes one expects of a young lady, 
who, if she wins the Miss Bahamas Universe title, is expected to travel as a glamorous personality of star quality. Of equal importance, however, is the discipline she displays
in her conduct, both publicly and privately, and her determination to make the most of the talents she possess.  In other words, we are looking for a young lady who will be an example to young people, not only in making the best of her physical attributes, but also for her progress at the conclusion of her reign.
