Gaynell Rolle

Born on May 14th, 1966 to Mr. Theophilus Fritz and Mrs. Coralee Rolle, Gaynell is a proud mother of two handsome boys and an adored family gem and sibling of four sisters and thirteen brothers. Known for her charismatic nature and bubbly personality, she lives by the philosophy ''If I can help somebody as I travel along then my living would not be in vain.''

As a young lady Ms. Rolle spent most of her time working with her peers and younger children, assisting in securing summers jobs, scholarships and coordinating school activities. She received her early education at the Bahamas Academy SDA School and then traveled to the United States of America where she completed her studies at the Miami-Dade Community College, Florida Memorial College and Nova Southern University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts and Master Degree in Business Administration, with special emphasis in Accounting. One of her greatest academic accomplishments was receiving her Accountant Certification from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants in 1996, which made her one of three Bahamians to have the certification at that time.

Ms. Rolle is the founder of the Bahamian International Student. While still a student at Florida Memorial College, she was instrumental in assisting over one hundred students to enroll at the College. She also helped in the development of the Career Planning Center and assisted in securing scholarships from the College for incoming Bahamian students. Gaynell often boasts of her love for the field of education and would like to assist the Government in its plans for the continued educational advancement for all Bahamians. Ms. Rolle also has a passion for politics, having worked in the field from the early age of twelve, primarily attached to local charitable and community groups that sought to render assistance to the less fortunate among us.

During the two years that Ms. Rolle has worked in her chosen career, she spent most of that time in the Accounting department of the Princess Margaret Hospital, Sandilands Rehabilitation Center and the Rand Memorial Hospital. She also spent a number of summers working at the Ministry of Education.

At present Ms. Rolle serves as Vice President of T's Trading Company Limited and is the proprietor of the Seabreeze Food Mart and CreditGram Agency. She is actively involved in a number of organizations including, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Mount Tabor Full Gospel Baptist Church, the founder of Leaders With A Vision program, the Bahamian International Student Association, Vice President of the Florida Memorial College Alumni Association and Co-Franchise Owner of the Miss Bahamas Universe Company Ltd.

During her leisure time she enjoys traveling, reading, working with many charitable organizations, assisting students and listening to music. A lover of nature, she embraces every day with a new song, remembering that it's a privilege to be of service to others.
